OK, so maybe NYX's new Baked Shadows are neither nutritious nor delicious, only they are a treat, and where else can yous get a baked dessert this expert for $6?
$six… I nearly can't believe that cost is real. Almost. Hey, this is NYX. Everything on their makeup carte du jour is super affordable.
Oh! — and calorie-free, which makes my muffin acme shimmy with joy/relief. 🙂
Outset things first, like NYX's new Baked Blushes (and many other succulent desserts), these accept a crunchy outer shell, beneath which exists the really skillful stuff. Break through the chaff (seriously, what'south up with that?), and y'all're rewarded with eyeshadows utterly devoid of fallout.
Zero. Cypher. Nix.
And blending these shadows is easier than saying "yep, please" to a second brownie. Buffing and softening lines between these eyeshadow colors is a total cakewalk. All it takes is a few swipes of my trusty blending brush.
And the cease? It softly glimmers, and I appreciate how it kindly steers clear of my fine lines.
For a subtle candlelit look, I like to wear these shadows dry, but you could ramp up the intensity by applying them with a moisture brush. Layered on top of my favorite NARS eye primer, NARS Pro-Prime number Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, they terminal all day, which is sweet!

Today was much quieter than yesterday, praise King Tabby for that, except for a brief symphony of jackhammers, or some other terrible tools, in the late afternoon. Other than that, though, neat. The pulsing in my brain has subsided to a low hum, and I haven't gone crazy (even so).
How were things on your finish of the keyboard? I hope they were adept. It'south almost Friday (Yeah!).
Are you lot doing annihilation this weekend? Does your family lookout the Super Bowl? Nosotros're heading over to my parents' house in the East Bay to BBQ and sentry the game, and I recollect I'm going to try to make homemade veggie burgers…

I dearest a skillful veggie burger… I've never made one myself, but I have had a couple that actually made me swoon. The one at The Counter, which is this burger articulation I go to sometimes in Southern Marin, is so good it should be illegal.
Best veggie burger this side of the Rockies. Easily down. (Not that I've tried every one…although I would.)
